Heartway S12 Vita Monster Battery

Feed the Beast. Maximum Power for Canada’s Most Aggressive Scooter.

The Heartway S12 Vita Monster is not a standard mobility scooter—it is a personal electric vehicle. With its massive 900-watt motor, Double-A arm suspension, and 15-inch turf tires, it is designed to dominate terrain that would leave other scooters stranded.

But high performance demands high energy. The Vita Monster’s aggressive top speed (18 km/h) and off-road torque capabilities drain standard batteries rapidly. If your Monster is losing its "bite" on hills, or if the top speed has dropped significantly, your power plant is likely starving the motor.

At MobileBattery, we specialize in high-output energy systems for the Heartway S-Series. We bring the heavy-duty batteries this machine requires directly to your door, ensuring your Monster stays at the top of the food chain.

The "Monster" Power Spec: Size Matters

The Heartway S12 frame is unique in the industry because it was engineered to house massive energy reserves. While many units ship with standard batteries, the chassis is capable of much more.

The Voltage Sag Problem: The Vita Monster draws immense current when accelerating or climbing. Standard "General Purpose" batteries often suffer from "Voltage Sag" under this load, causing the scooter’s safety system to cut power to protect the motor.

The MobileBattery Solution: We do not install generic alarm-system batteries in a Vita Monster. We stock High-Current Traction Batteries specifically designed to sustain the 900W output of the S12 motor without overheating or cutting out.

Select Your Power Tier

We offer three distinct configurations for the Vita Monster, ranging from factory restoration to "Super-Range" upgrades.

Option A: The Factory Standard (Group 24 AGM)

"Original Equipment Performance." If you use your Vita Monster for paved trails and moderate usage, this returns the scooter to its showroom specification.

  • Capacity: 75-80 Amp Hours (Ah).

  • Range: Approx. 35km - 40km.

Option B: The "Monster" Upgrade (Group 27 Dry Cell)

"Maximum Range & Torque." Exclusive to Heartway S12 Chassis. The Vita Monster is one of the few scooters with a tray large enough to accept Group 27 batteries. These massive units provide 35% more energy capacity than the standard size.

  • Why Choose This: If you weigh over 250 lbs or drive long distances off-road, this is the only battery that will provide true all-day performance.

  • Tech: Discover® EV Dry Cell (Vibration Resistant).

Option C: The Lithium Speedster (Discover® Blue)

"The Lightweight Performance Kit." Note: Available in Group 24 Size Only. By swapping lead-acid for Discover Blue Lithium, you strip over 60 lbs of dead weight off the scooter.

  • Performance: Experience faster acceleration and more responsive handling.

  • Winter Ready: The only lithium battery with internal heating for Canadian winters.

  • App Connected: Monitor your exact fuel level via Bluetooth.

Why Vita Owners Choose MobileBattery

The Heartway S12 Vita Monster is a substantial machine, weighing nearly 330 lbs.

The "Impossible Transport": Because of its massive tires and wide wheelbase, the Vita Monster does not fit on standard vehicle lifts or inside most minivans. Transporting it to a shop is a logistical nightmare often requiring a flatbed trailer.

The Mobile Advantage:

  • We Come to You: We service your scooter where it sits—in your garage, driveway, or shed.

  • Tire Inflation: The S12 relies on low-pressure balloon tires for suspension. We inflate them to the precise PSI to ensure you aren't wasting battery power on rolling resistance.

  • Controller Check: We inspect the S-Drive controller connections to ensure no heat damage has occurred from previous low-voltage driving.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I fit Group 27 batteries in my standard Heartway S12?

Most S12 Vita Monster and S12X models are designed with a sliding battery tray that can accommodate the larger Group 27 (100Ah) batteries. However, some older standard "Vita" models are limited to Group 24. Our technician will measure your tray on-site before installation to confirm compatibility.

Why is my Vita Monster slower than it used to be?

Speed loss is the #1 symptom of battery aging in the S12. As batteries sulfate, they cannot maintain the high voltage needed to spin the motor at 4500 RPM. A fresh set of High-Output batteries will restore your top speed immediately.

Do I need to change the charger if I upgrade to Group 27?

Usually, no. The standard 8-Amp off-board charger supplied with the Vita Monster is sufficient to charge Group 27 batteries; it will simply take slightly longer (overnight) to reach a full 100% saturation.
