1. MobileBattery 30-Day Grace Period

All new battery purchases include a 30-Day Grace Period, allowing you to exchange your current battery for a new one if it experiences early failure due to a manufacturing defect. A "bad cell" or "replace battery" status must be verified by our technician's digital load tester.

2. Manufacturer Warranty Only (Standard Service)

If you opt out of the Premium Warranty upgrade, your physical battery is still protected by the manufacturer against defects. You may contact the battery manufacturer directly to process a warranty exchange at no cost (DIY).

If you choose to book our mobile service to process a manufacturer warranty claim for you:

  • What is covered: Your battery will be replaced with a new unit of the same specifications for free.

  • What is NOT covered: Delivery, diagnostics, and on-site installation are not included.

  • Cost: A standard mobile service fee starting at $161 CAD (plus applicable taxes/fees) will be applied for our technician to perform the on-site replacement. Additional fees may apply for AGM/Hard installations (difficult access) or battery coding.

3. Premium MobileBattery Warranty

The Premium MobileBattery Warranty eliminates the hassle of unexpected roadside fees by covering your delivery and installation costs during the manufacturer’s Free Replacement Period, subject to the following limits:

  • Coverage Limit: Waives the standard mobile service fee for a maximum of two (2) warranty dispatches during the covered period.

  • Verified Defects Only: Free on-site service strictly requires a confirmed manufacturer defect. If our technician determines the battery is merely discharged due to vehicle neglect, a failing alternator, or a parasitic draw, standard diagnostic and service fees will apply.

  • The Continuous Clock: If a battery is replaced, the new unit inherits the remaining time of your original warranty. The coverage clock begins on the date of your original purchase and does not reset.

  • Geographic Limits: The waived dispatch fee is valid only within active MobileBattery service zones.

The Prorated Transition: Free on-site service is provided only during the manufacturer’s designated Free Replacement Period. Once the battery enters its prorated warranty period, standard service fees will apply, regardless of the warranty type on your receipt.

Example: If you purchase a battery with a 3-year free replacement and a 3-year prorated warranty:

  • Years 0–3: The Premium Warranty covers the mobile service fee, and the manufacturer covers the battery (Free on-site swap).

  • Years 3–6: You are in the prorated period. You will receive a partial credit for the cost of the battery, but standard mobile service charges ($161+ CAD) will apply.
