Pride Baja Wrangler 2 Battery

Unleash the True Power of Your Dual-Motor ATV. We Come to You.

The Pride Baja Wrangler 2 (Model BA400) is not a normal scooter. With its aggressively treaded 14.5" tires, massive CTS suspension, and Dual-Motor All-Wheel-Drive system, it is the most capable off-road mobility device ever sold in Canada.

But here is the truth: High-performance dual motors are incredibly thirsty. If you are driving your Wrangler 2 on the factory-standard batteries, you are likely only getting 60% of the range this machine is capable of. If your battery bar drops rapidly when you hit the trails, or if you feel the power "sag" in thick grass, your power plant isn't keeping up with your motors.

At MobileBattery, we specialize in the extreme energy demands of the Baja series. We bring the heavy-duty power upgrades directly to your door, transforming your Wrangler 2 from a neighborhood cruiser into the long-range explorer it was meant to be.

The "Wrangler Secret": You Can Go Bigger

Most dealers sell the Baja Wrangler 2 with standard Group 24 (75Ah) batteries to keep the sticker price down.

The "Hidden" Capacity: The Wrangler 2 chassis was specifically engineered by Pride Mobility to accept larger Group 27 (100Ah) batteries.

  • The Reality: The factory 75Ah batteries struggle to feed the hungry dual motors during steep climbs, leading to reduced torque.

  • The Solution: By upgrading to the larger Group 27 size, you essentially add a "reserve tank," increasing your range by nearly 35% and providing the sustained amperage needed to churn through mud and gravel without stalling.

Select Your Adventure Tier

We offer three distinct power levels for the Baja Wrangler 2. Choose the one that matches your terrain.

Option A: The Factory Restore (Group 24 AGM)

"Pavement & Park Reliability." If you primarily use your Wrangler 2 on paved pathways, hard-packed gravel, or around town, the standard size is sufficient.

  • Capacity: 75 Amp Hours.

  • Range: Restores original factory spec (approx. 25-30km).

Option B: The "Beast Mode" Upgrade (Group 27 Dry Cell)

"The Off-Road King." Highly Recommended for Wrangler Owners. This is the battery this scooter was born to use. We install the massive Discover® EV Group 27 Dry Cell batteries.

  • Torque: High-plate-density design prevents voltage sag, keeping your dual motors spinning at full RPM on steep hills.

  • Range: Increases capacity to 100Ah-110Ah, delivering true all-day adventure range (up to 45km+).

  • Vibration Proof: Dry Cell technology is immune to the shaking and bouncing of off-road trails.

Option C: The Lithium Agility Kit (Discover® Blue)

"The Weight Loss Program." Available in Group 24 Size. The Wrangler 2 is a heavy machine (370 lbs+). By switching to Discover Blue Lithium, you strip over 60 lbs of dead weight instantly.

  • Handling: With less weight to push, the dual motors accelerate faster and the suspension reacts more smoothly to bumps.

  • Smart Tech: Use the Bluetooth App to see exactly how much battery you have left before you head into the deep woods.

  • Winter Ready: Self-heating technology allows you to charge safely in your unheated garage or shed.

Why Wrangler Owners Call MobileBattery

The Baja Wrangler 2 is a giant. It is wider, longer, and heavier than almost anything else on the market.

The Transport Nightmare: You cannot disassemble a Wrangler 2. It requires a trailer or a platform lift to move. Taking this scooter to a shop for service often costs $200+ in transport fees alone.

The Mobile Advantage:

  • We Come to You: Our technicians arrive at your home equipped to handle the heavy lifting.

  • Dual-Motor Check: While we are there, we test the output of both motors. Often, one motor can fail silently, forcing the other to work double-time and kill your batteries. We ensure your AWD system is balanced.

  • Tire Inflation: The large 14.5" tires are sensitive to pressure. We inflate them to the exact off-road spec to maximize your battery range.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I really fit Group 27 batteries in my Wrangler 2?

Yes. The battery compartment of the BA400 model is designed with a removable spacer specifically to allow for Group 27 batteries. Our technicians remove this spacer and install the larger 100Ah units for maximum range.

Why do my batteries die so fast when I drive on grass?

Grass is the enemy of battery life. It creates immense drag on the tires, forcing the dual motors to pull 2-3 times more current than on pavement. If you drive on grass frequently, you must use Option B (High Output Group 27) batteries, or you will destroy standard batteries in less than a year.

Does the Wrangler 2 need a special charger for Lithium batteries?

If you choose our Option C (Lithium) upgrade, the Baja Wrangler 2's factory 8-amp off-board charger is generally compatible, but we verify the charging profile during installation to ensure it will wake up the lithium BMS correctly.
