Warranty: How It Works

How Our Warranty Service Works

The Manufacturer Covers the Battery. We Cover the Heavy Lifting.

If a battery purchased through MobileBattery fails due to a defect within the coverage period, the replacement battery is free.

Because we are a fully mobile roadside service, we don't have a physical auto shop you have to tow your car to. Instead, we offer a complete door-to-manufacturer concierge service. For a standard warranty service fee, we handle the entire logistics, transportation, and paperwork process on your behalf.

Here is exactly what happens when you submit a warranty claim:

Step 1: Mobile Dispatch & Travel

You don't need to pay for a tow truck or figure out how to jump-start your vehicle. We dispatch a technician directly to your driveway, office parking lot, or roadside location.

Step 2: On-Site Diagnostics & Swap

A dead battery isn't always a defective battery. Before replacing anything, we test your vehicle’s electrical system and alternator to ensure the battery is the actual cause of the failure. Once confirmed, we safely remove the defective unit and install your brand-new, fully warrantied replacement on the spot.

Step 3: The Manufacturer Return Run

This is where we save you hours of driving and heavy lifting. We load up your defective battery core and transport it directly to the manufacturer's local supply hub on your behalf.

Step 4: Claims Processing & Paperwork

We stand at the manufacturer's counter, process the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), and handle all the necessary commercial paperwork required to clear the warranty claim and balance the inventory. You never have to deal with the manufacturer directly.

Why We Swap First and Ask Questions Later

When your vehicle is dead, you don’t have days to wait for a manufacturer to process a claim. That is why we install a brand-new battery on the spot, before the manufacturer officially tests your old one. Because our primary focus is on rapid mobile logistics and getting you back on the road immediately, we will source your replacement from whichever trusted battery partner has immediate local availability. Any replacement we install will always meet or exceed the exact power specifications and group size of your original battery.

Sometimes, the manufacturer tests the returned battery, decides it was just deeply discharged rather than defective, and rejects the claim. In a traditional shop, you would be on the hook for that denied claim. At MobileBattery, we take on that risk so you don't have to. If a claim is denied after we’ve already replaced your battery, we absorb the cost of the new battery and handle the rejected one ourselves. Your service fee allows us to guarantee immediate, on-the-spot replacements without making you wait for official manufacturer approval.
